SECO EP is helping ecosystem organizations to develop mentoring programs, increasing angel investment by helping to form and train angel groups, organizing peer-to-peer learning trips for , organizing startup boot camps for women entrepreneurs, and supporting greater collaboration among actors in each countries’ entrepreneurship ecosystem. JAA will soon also begin to provide technical expertise to local incubators and accelerators by helping them improve their business models.
SECO EP emerged from the feasibility study and strategy development that JAA carried out for SECO, that provided the basis for the current project’s design. To carry out the feasibility study, JAA partnered with local firms in each country to identify the critical actors in each entrepreneurship ecosystem, leverage points, bottlenecks and potential economic impacts of the Entrepreneurship Program.
